On this day in 1935. On the 17th of April in 1935 the Australian airline Qantas operates its first overseas passenger flight. The overseas passenger flight from Brisbane to Singapore took four days.

On this day in 1974. Victoria Beckham, singer “Posh Spice” celebrates her birthday today.
