On this day in 2011. Osama bin Laden, founder of the militant Islamist group Al-Qaeda was killed by American military operatives. Osama was the mastermind behind the September 11 attacks and the FBI’s most wanted man. He was killed in Abbottabod, Pakistan.
On this day in 1975. David Beckham, English footballer, celebrates his 38th birthday today.
On this day in 1519. Leondardo da Vinci died on the 2nd May 1519.
