It’s almost a hundred years since John F Kennedy was born, wow, that’s a surprise – or maybe it’s a sign I’m getting old!
Yea, 96 years ago. Awww it’s alright Mum we are all getting old and at least you are off doing something you really want to do! I’m so proud of you.
Personally – as a traveler and explorer at heart- I think Norgay and Hillary’s summitting takes the cake. I reached Thorong La Pass on Annapurna, and that was exhilarating too… can’t imagine the feeling of reaching Everest’s peak. Thanks for sharing this milestone – and for dropping by my blog!
Great photo of Tenzing and Hillary.
It is isn’t it, such a great accomplishment! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment 🙂
